The first thing that most people consider is the price per lesson. Ask yourself this question....How long do you actually drive for in the lesson? Are you getting your moneys worth? Do they just talk?
There are many more questions to finding a driving instructor, are they a qualified ADI, where do you pickup from, actual number of hours driving in a lesson.......
Other Qualities to consider
Character: From first impression will this person get on well with you/your daughter/your son?
Type of car: Will it suit you? Is it easy to drive?
Flexibility: Does the Instructor vary the time of the lesson to give you more driving experience?
Pickup: Will the Instructor pick you up from home/school/college/work?
Feedback: Does the Instructor offer you, the parent, the chance to sit in on a lesson to see how your child is progressing?
Driving in YOUR car: Does your Instructor offer advice on when to practice in your car and will she/he teach you in your car for reduced rates?
Number of hours driving: How long do you actually drive for in a lesson and where?
Experience Offered: How much driving experience have they got?
Contact Details: Can you Contact them easily?
ADI and Grade: Is your instructor fully qualified ADI and been CRB checked. What grade are they?
Qualifications: What recognized qualifications do they have?
Receipt: Do you get a receipt for payment?
Payment: Do you still have to pay if you miss a lesson, due to unforseen circumstances?
